Fork Extensions - Standard
Fork extensions are available for temporary use when there is a requirement for stabilizing loads during long load handling.
Standard fork extensions are constructed of structural steel channel material.
Fork extensions must not be more than 1-1/2 x the length of the forks that they are used on.
The horizontal center of gravity of the load being handled must not be longer than 1/2 the length of the fork extension; thus not longer than 3/4 the length of the supporting fork blade.

Fork extensions shall be properly sized to fit the fork blades.
The clearance between the fork extension and the fork blade shall not be more than 1/2".
The clearance between the heel of the fork and the stirrup of the fork extension shall not be more than 1/2".
