Allows for safe removal of battery from truck for electrolyte level checks and refilling. Without the Battery Service Stand, you cannot perform checks and refilling safely or easily and in most cases it will not get done at all, resulting in permanent damage to a $4000 to $5000 battery. We recommend only rolling the battery out far enough to check half of the cells on one side, then push it back in and move the BSS over to the other side of the truck and check the other half of the cells. Disconnect battery from truck before rolling battery out. |
